From inside the Blue...

Some free advice for you, if you're a middle aged guy and single. Sometimes it's best to just lose yourself in your job, hopefully you have one, and be kind to people when you can. That's what I do. Me? I'm a cop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. License and registration please. Just kidding. Almost twenty-nine years on the job and I never bashed in any heads or shot anyone. Now I work behind a desk, and yeah, I do like a good doughnut.
If a younger woman comes on to you, you think "What does she want?" Am I right? But never say never. That's my new motto. Just be careful who you go to graveyards with.
I'm officer Frank Goretti in Len Koepsell's story "Graveyard Ultimatums", in volume 1 of his Short Stories for Movie Mavens. It's got a bus that gets a bomb threat, Midwest corruption and a femme fatale named Sonja. Just don't read it while you're driving.
