You go through school thinking you’ll grow up to be something, something you always wanted to be. Then life hits you and wow, you end up being something completely different. Hey, 

I’m Whitney, Whitney Westin. I’m happy to be reaching out to you from the pages of Len Koepsell’s novel, Three Strikes, You’re Dead

If I couldn’t be Roxie Hart in Chicago, I wanted to design costumes, for some theater company. At college, my best career path seemed a degree in fashion merchandising, but then after college I landed a job in the marketing department for a large department store chain. I did, however, get to pretend to be Sally Bowles in Cabaret. That’s when the fun started. More about that when you read the book. I hope you do, because in the words of Yogi B. “It ain’t over till it’s over.” That’s what I kept telling myself. Still do.
