It’s me, Evan Walker, again, author, romantic optimist. You met me Len Koepsell’s short story Original Content. How did you like it? Wasn’t Percy a creep?
For those of you who have not yet bought a copy of Len's ORIGINAL CONTENT, Seven Short Stories for Movie Mavens Volume 1, let me re-introduce myself. I was hurtin' back then, in Santa Barbara, in the days before Facebook and cell phones. Like I said, I thought any guy who drove around town in an XKE must be successful. That's what I thought.
Back then I was a starving author looking for an agent to help launch my career. I thought Percy Montrose was it. And Percy always had a lithesome, long-haired beauty nearby to help him work his magic. What a chump I was.
"Original Content", the short story, my story, is a delectable appetizer to the writings of Len Koepsell. It's the last story in Len's ORIGINAL CONTENT, Seven Short Stories for Movie Mavens Volume 1. But a character like me is hard to kill. I come back roaring in The Fossa, a longer tale in Volume 2.
