My name is Bao Xiang

I couldn’t throw heaters in the 90’s and my control sucked. We’re talkin’ baseball. I grew up in southern Cali, wanting to be a pitcher like Don Sutton, but I wasn’t good enough. What could a Chinese teenager growing up in southern California do to stay close to the game?
What did I do? I became a sports agent, that’s what I did. I thought if I couldn’t cut it in the Majors, at least I could help some other young, talented guys make it to the Bigs. Along the way, yeah I developed a few bad habits and some bad appetites. Hey, don’t we all?
I feel privileged to be reaching out to you from the pages of Len Koepsell’s novel, Three Strikes, You’re Dead. Read the book. It’s a trip.
