The Fossa
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, some people say. So is a little success. When I had my first success, as a writer, I told my own little voice to be quiet. I thought the people in my new profession must know what it takes to keep being successful. However, you still gotta live your best you, and if you find yourself on thin ice, you might as well dance. That’s my best advice.
I’m Evan Walker; writer, intrepid romantic and now an authority on Costa Rica bad guys, although not your typical type. If you find me, in Len Koepsell’s novella, The Fossa, you’ll see I’m in quite a mess. It’s a tale of nastiness, with a Danish femme fatale. It all started to make sense when I climbed up to a treehouse overlooking a banana orchard.
What’s a fossa you may be asking? It’s not some furry costume you can put on and take off. Native to the island of Madagascar, fossas are feisty little creatures. You wouldn’t want one as house pet. Still, if your criminal craves the moniker, like my bad guy, Armando, you comply. Anyway, the Jackal was already taken.
The Fossa is a one-of-a-kind, grand adventure. It unfolds in Len Koepsell’s ORIGINAL CONTENT, Seven Short Stories for Movie Mavens, Volume 2. You can snag your copy here: Original Content Vol 2.
